Presenting Balance and Budget

We are happy to announce our new Android application Balance and Budget. The application makes balance and budget management easy, simple, and fast, and it does an excellent job of giving you an overview of your different accounts.

You can add as many accounts as you want; i.e. one called "Car," another called "Food," etc. Set a daily, weekly, or monthly budget for each and start managing your revenues and expenses! All your accounts will be visible from the main screen.

Adding transactions is fast and easy. Touch the plus icon in the upper right corner from anywhere in the application, and set the revenue or expense value, a note, a category, and even a picture of your bill or warranty. You can even add repeating transactions with only a few touches.

You can export all your transactions in a .csv file to your favorite desktop spreadsheet software such as Calc, Excel, and Numbers. You can also import your transactions in a balance management program such as Quicken and MS Money.

Backing up your transactions is also easy, and with the pro version you'll even be able to automate backups every day. These can automatically be uploaded to your Dropbox account.

Protect your transactions against your friends with curious fingers by setting a password or a pin code.

We have been busy working on this new application for a long time so we hope you will like it.

Hi,

I like the app, would you be able to do a tutorial on how you accomplished that nice tab bar across the top? It looks great and I would love to add one similar to an app that i'm developing.

Many thanks,

Ross

@Ross
The action bar will be a part of the coming Ice Cream Sandwich. However, you can use the ActionBarSherlock which uses the native action bar if it is available and a custom implementation if it isn't.

Is the only way to see the transactions I have entered is to export them into an Excel spreadsheet? What are the differences for the tabs at the top?
